I'm not sure I love calling us part of the "fashion" industry, but I guess we are. Our gear is meant to be fun, functional, and I suppose as fashionable as you can get when it comes to hiking t-shirts. It's not that I don't like fashion, it's the entire "fast fashion" industry that leaves me feeling less than good. I'm not going to link any specific articles here, but there are plenty that go into the environmental impact of the fashion industry. The worst offenders are the cheap, trendy, fast fashion brands that are meant to last a season and get tossed out. Happy Earth day yesterday! I mean, we think it should be earth day every day and also, we have no clue what day it is anymore so today, we celebrate! This extra time I've had at home has allowed me to reexamine a lot of my life. I've noticed a few things that I really want to make a conscious effort to adjust, and a lot of them revolve around the imprint I'm making on our planet. We've loved seeing the creativity over the past few weeks as many of us are adapting to more time at home.
